About RentClock
Useful landlord compliance information, with the edges left visible.
Editorial policy last reviewed: 27 August 2026
RentClock is a UK-built deadline ledger for small landlords in England. It records dates and documents, calculates reminders and explains common national compliance duties in plain English. It is not a law firm, property manager or substitute for property-specific advice.
How guides are produced
We start with the practical question a landlord needs to answer, then check time-sensitive legal claims against primary sources such as GOV.UK, legislation guidance and the Health and Safety Executive. Each guide lists the official sources used, an updated date and related pages that may help.
What we will and will not claim
We distinguish rules already in force from announced policy, consultation outcomes and dates that have not yet been fixed. We do not invent penalties, use unsourced deadlines or imply that a general calculator can decide whether a rule applies to a particular tenancy.
Updates and corrections
Guides are reviewed when official guidance changes and during scheduled content checks. Material changes update the visible reviewed date. If you spot something that needs correction, email support@rentclock.com with the page and source.
Product privacy
Public guides and calculators do not need an account. Customer property records and uploaded documents are private to the customer account. Read the full privacy policy for how the service handles data.
