Use the official follow-up date
Enter the exact statutory excuse expiry established by the prescribed checking route. The reminder is 28 days earlier to allow time to obtain evidence; that reminder interval is an organisational choice, not a new legal checking window.
For an expiry of 31 January 2027, the planning reminder is 3 January 2027. Complete the required follow-up before the statutory excuse expires. This tool cannot determine immigration status or derive the correct date from a passport or visa alone.
Keep a separate record for each adult occupier
Record who was checked, the method, the dated evidence and any exact follow-up requirement. An unlimited statutory excuse normally does not need a follow-up during the tenancy.
